June 7th, 2023 - Birding Walk Report

Location: King's Park, Winnipeg, Manitoba

Time: 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM

Thank you to those who came out to our first UMIBC Birding Walk! See our eBird report above for a full list of our sightings, and a picture of one of the more common species we saw, the Red-winged Blackbird. Kings Park was incredibly alive yesterday and we saw a total of 15 species! We got some great looks at an American Coot that was nestled in the reeds by one of the ponds, which was very special for us!
