About the event
Join the University of Manitoba Indigenous Birding Club for the first event in our Speaker Series! Elder Stanley Kipling will be sharing Eagle Teachings, the significance of Eagles in traditional items and will be demonstrating the harvesting of a Bald Eagle. Date: Wednesday, November 1, 2023 Time: 11:30am to 2:30pm (not required to stay for the entirety of the event) Location: Circle Room, Migizii Agamik – The Bald Eagle Lodge, 114 Sidney Smith Street, University of Manitoba (Fort Garry Campus). This workshop may allow you to receive hands on harvesting experience, and clothes may get dirty! All are welcome to attend. Space is limited (30 people maximum), and seats will be given first come, first served.
